LES SCIERNES D'ALBEUVE

The slopes of the Dent de Lys are surprising: the west side is steep and gullied, while the east side is very dry. This is due to the two geological layers that make up the mountain range. The pass is reached from Les Près d'Albeuve by a 2-hour 45-minute walk with a 900-metre climb.

You may come across an ibex during the walk. For the more experienced, it is possible to climb the Dent de Lys, but beware of the vertiginous passages.

Les Près d'Albeuve and the Col de Lys are accessible by public transport using the GoldenPass.
