La Videmanette

ROUGEMONT
Departing from Rougemont, the Videmanette cable car climbs to an altitude of 2150 m, in the middle of the Rubli and Gummfluh limestone massifs, for a 4-hour ride with a 1240-metre vertical drop.
Three via ferrata routes are available for a wide range of climbers. Alternatively, there are several hikes from the top of the cable car. In winter, the ski slopes provide access to the Saanen-Gstaad ski area.
Fans of beautiful mountain scenery will not be disappointed, starting with the view of the Rubli, very close to the Videmanette hut. If you turn your gaze clockwise, you can see the Gstaad region and the Bernese Oberland, then the Eiger and the Stockhorn. Looking north, you can see the Gastlosen, the Vanil Noir and the Pays-d'Enhaut.
La Videmanette is accessible by public transport with the GoldenPass, getting off at the Gare stop.
